A life long resident of Champaign County, he graduated from Mahomet-Seymour High School and the University of Illinois. Russ has been married to his wife Charlene for 31 years and has two sons; Ryan, who is attending graduate school in Denver, and Rhett who graduated from Vanderbuilt University in Tennessee. His hobbies include running, reading, hunting and Harley Davidson motorcycles. He previously served as elder in his church. Russ is currently a school mentor, and is active in Promise Keepers and Pinnacle Forum. He has been a speaker at the RE/MAX International Convention and has numerous recognitions including the RE/MAX Hall of Fame, Chairman's Club and Lifetime Acheivement Awards. Russ's designations include Certified Residential Specialist and Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager.
